I would have thought they would get more popular - are they not coming out with more electric cars?

I am sure there will be more hybrids as people get tired of dealing with gas prices and more of them become available in the used car market.  Most people can't afford or are not willing to buy them brand new, but that will probably change as well!

I think that they are just to exspensive for the everyday person to buy. I see they are still out there just don't see a ton on the road. Hopefully that all will change when they become more affordable.

There is a new Electric about to debut. You have to see it to believe it....I'm drooling.

Now that is a sweet looking car. I had not seen this one yet. Love that it doesn't have the boxy looking shape.

That is a sharp looking car, and I love the curves!

I haven't seen much from the electric cars lately, but I think that they are definitely going to be showing up more often.

I think it is a matter of time.  When oil prices keep on the high because there is a higher demand and not so much of it, then the electric cars will be THE best option.

I think they are reworking the storage systems to extend the length of charge and the control of energy discharge.  Once they get these things to work better, I think we will see more options in the electric car market.

I saw a reportage about the car exhibition in Frankfurt and they showed a few options that are electric cars.  I think they are really getting there, and we'll soon see that they will be more popular... well, at least in Europe.

I to think that as they work out the kinks we will see more of these out on the market. Cannot wait to see what some of them will offer.

I definitely think that Europe is making huge advances with alternative fuels and different technologies, simply because the gas prices here are way too high!  I hope this will happen too in the US.

The problem with electric for me is that electricity in my area comes from coal.  Is this really any better than burning gas?

Tesla, Zap, Phoenix Motors, Miles, Smart EV, Venturi, Wrightspeed, Zenn, the electric car has never been dead only a little dormant for a while as a new line of EV's were revving up to hit the market.

You need to stop relying on natural sources and take a different step in energy.
