What is the difference between Premium gas and regular gas? and is the difference worth in spending extra money?

I really don´t think there´s such a big difference in countries like the US or in Europe.  But in places like South America, there is a very big difference, because the cheaper gas is less clean and damages the engine with time.

I was once given a long explanation from an automotive technician who works for Rolls Royce that the main difference is just the price.  Also he told me that cars take longer to start/ignite during the winter months, and unleaded fuel ignites more quickly than premium.

I've used nothing but unleaded ever since.

I have always been told that there is not much difference between Premium and Regular gasses. I have always used Regular and have had no problem.

So, if you have an expensive luxury vehicle, you would just spend more money for the gas?

I heard the difference wasn't much but sometimes you car still objects to the lower grade gasoline.

They actually make cars that have expensive tastes?  I didn't know that. I am glad my car doesn't have an attitude....

I am glad mine doesn't have an attitude also. I have never had any problems so far though not using the premium.

Well some gas will make your car sputter or have difficulty starting.  I think you have to change your injection to compensate.

I think at these prices, they should make all gasoline premium!  I guess my car would appreciate the premium gas, but it runs pretty good on the cheapest there is!
