I am an insider tired of the oil company rip-offs and I tell all. Read about who really sets the prices at your local gas station and why you are paying up to 40% too much for gas!

You are reading the words of a disgusted multiunit owner\operator of gasoline stations in the United States.  I am tired of having people think that the owners of individual gas stations are making a lot of money and wish to disclose to the general public the truth about the inner workings of the oil business from my perspective.  I don’t guarantee you that all the things I say herein are totally accurate from a factual viewpoint but they are the truth written from my viewpoint.  If you don’t like that, don’t read this blog.  Otherwise, I encourage your questions and comments.

good point truth, I was forced to retire 3 years ago after owning and operating 5 Texaco c-stores for 15 years. I was forced because of the lack of profit in the retail fuel market. I finally handed over my stations after 3 years of losing 1 to 2 cents on every gallon of gas I sold. End result is the giant chains now run most locations (including mine) and there is less competition than ever.

And it only gets worse.  Sorry to hear about your situation gaspeddler.  The truth is the oil companies purposed to eliminate the small dealers by narrowing the margins.  In the bigger cities the large mega stations, largely developed by the big oil companies, are the rule.  Capitalism?  It would be if they didn't tightly control prices by individual zone pricing!

If you really want to save... Use Ethos. It is a publically traded company, they aren't allowed to exaggerate like others do... the truth is; increase MPG 7-19% improve emmissions by 30 -100%. www.forearthonline.com/ecopure
