hows the high prices affecting you guys/gals? are you cutting back going out? carpooling? settling for basic cable? just curious how everyone else is dealing with the prices. Me personally i think the main change i have made is just in my driving habits, i try and leave earlier so im not always in a rush, but man does it take forever to get somewhere LOL

Thanks for continuing to check in and contribute ghetto_cowboytx! I haven't changed my spending habits much at all. I'm like you, I've changed my driving habits and tried to find creative ways to increase my gas mileage such as paying attention to tire pressure, air filters and other things like listening to heavy metal because it causes me to drive harder and faster.

Men, i am mechanic and this gas price is mess in our industory and my life. I change jobs 5 time in couple months. Dealership not selling car, shop cannot charge too much for repaire, parts costing too much for basic tune up stuff. I am broke as joke. So i start offering hydrogen generator kit at http://mechanic991.wetpaint.com I just order two kit insted paying rent, electricity. Forks mess is coming, I am getting job tommorr but if you know anybody hiring in Dallas TX Let me know
